Important Update: Studio Image Retention Policy

We are introducing a retention policy for non-published images in Studio to keep the platform stable, predictable, and easier to maintain over time.

What this applies to

This policy applies only to images that are still in one of these states:

• draft
• generation

Published images are not affected by this change.

When this starts

Enforcement will begin on May 4, 2026.

Until then, the system may already be checking which images would be affected, but no images will be deleted before that date.

How retention works

Image retention for non-published images is based on your current account tier:

• Free: 7 days
• Discord Activated: 14 days
• Paid tiers: no automatic expiration

If an image remains in draft or generation status beyond your tier's retention window, it may be automatically removed.

Important details

• Retention is evaluated using the image creation date.
• If you publish an image, it is no longer affected by this retention policy.
• If your tier changes in the future, the applicable retention policy may also change.
• This cleanup is intended only for temporary Studio content, not for published work.

What you should do

If you want to keep an image permanently, please make sure it is published before the retention window expires.

We recommend reviewing older Studio drafts and generations before May 4, 2026 if you want to preserve them.

This update helps us:

• keep temporary storage under control
• improve long-term platform reliability
• maintain a clearer distinction between temporary work and published content
