1. What is Social Diffusion?
Social Diffusion is an AI creation platform focused on generating, publishing, and discovering community-made images, posts, articles, contests, and galleries.
2. Do I need an account to use the app?
You can browse parts of the platform publicly, but account-based features like image generation, publishing, following, commenting, galleries, contest participation, and notifications require signing in.
3. How does image generation work?
The generate flow lets you submit prompts, choose a model, set dimensions, and tune options like CFG, sampler, scheduler, seed, steps, LoRAs, img2img, detailer, and upscaling. Generated results can then be reviewed and published.
4. When do checkpoints cycle on the website? Are new checkpoints going to be added?
Checkpoints usually cycle based on voting every month, but there can be slight delays depending on current workload. New checkpoints may also be added as part of that ongoing rotation process.
5. What can I publish?
You can publish generated or uploaded images, group images into posts, write articles, organize work into galleries and collections, and submit eligible images into contests.
6. How do contests work?
Users can create contests, upload example media, submit images, comment on contest threads, contribute to prize pools, and select winners when the contest rules allow it.
7. What are credits and tiers for?
Credits are used for platform actions such as generation-related workflows. Paid tiers can affect your recurring subscription, monthly credit grants, and access to premium capabilities or higher usage limits.
8. How do I get more credits?
You can increase your available credits by activating your Discord account, which grants 1000 Credits, through paid subscriptions or one-time payments in the platform billing flow, and through level progression bonuses that improve credit-related rewards and limits over time.
9. How does the Levels System work?
The Levels System tracks your XP progress and unlocks bonus improvements as you level up. Those level bonuses stack on top of your current tier entitlements and can improve things like daily login credits, credit earnings from likes and posted images, usage limits, concurrent jobs, and image retention.
10. How do daily credits work?
You can claim daily credits after completing the required daily likes and posts. Your claim progress is shown in the studio overview and achievements areas, and once the requirements are complete you can claim that day’s credits from there.
11. How do follows, likes, tips, and leaderboards fit in?
The platform is designed as a social creation network. Users can follow creators, like images, tip creators, comment across different content types, and appear in leaderboard sections based on activity and engagement.
12. What content is not allowed?
Illegal, exploitative, abusive, infringing, or otherwise prohibited content is not allowed. The platform also enforces stricter rules around unsafe sexual content, minors, extreme gore, and other disallowed material.
